We have decided to move on from The Hornet and hand over the keys to someone new. What we created has been very special thanks to the amazing customers who helped to build close friendships and thereby building a close-knit community like no other. Our five years at the bar have been memorable but it has also become too much for Glenn who needs a break. We have served the best beer in Chichester and beyond in all our time here and we were delighted to support the emergence of Little Monster Brewery now based near Chichester. To that end we approached Brenden to ask if he would like to take on our little pub and he has taken up that challenge and the Little Monster Tap @ The Hornet opens for business on Friday February 10th following a refurb. We are sure you will all support the Little Monster team (which includes the wonderful Lorna) in their new venture.

About us
The Hornet Alehouse is a Micropub, a small independent Alehouse.
We serve an ever-changing selection of cask and keg beers, fine ciders, wine and a selection of soft drinks.
We will not blast you with music, serve you tapped lager, make you watch TV or serve you gastro food (in fact we let you bring in your own food).
We will provide a relaxed and sociable atmosphere, where you can enjoy a couple of beers and a bit of a chat, we think you will love it.
